Full judgment

1. MR JUSTICE OWEN: This is an application for an extension of an interim supervision order made on 26 July 2010 under Article 31.8 of the Nursing and Midwifery Order 2001, for a period of six months from 24 July 2012. The application is supported by a witness statement from Alexis Badger, the case officer in the Fitness to Practice Directorate dated 13 July 2012. I also have the benefit of a skeleton argument from Mr Lucamatti, counsel for the applicant. I am entirely satisfied that the extension of the supervision order is necessary for the protection of the public, and is otherwise in the public interest. It will accordingly be extended until 23 January 2013.

2. MR LUCAMATTI: Thank you, my Lord. Just one point of clarification. I think you referred to a supervision order. It is actually a suspension order.

3. MR JUSTICE OWEN: Suspension order. I can't read my own note. I am grateful.

4. MR LUCAMATTI: Thank you very much.

5. MR JUSTICE OWEN: There is your order. Thank you very much.
